Responsibilities
- Drive and assist the Strategy, Corp. Dev & Capital Markets team on independent analysis and discussions
- Lead work streams and small projects, develop and oversee financial models for project assessment and valuations
- Drive implementation of strategic / value capture projects in coordination with relevant business areas
- Support the definition and execution of EGA's strategic priorities and annual strategy development process
- Develop performance improvement initiatives and projects, including operational improvement and OPEX/CAPEX reduction
- Coach and mentor Associates to ensure transfer of knowledge and build sustained capability
Requirements
- Experience in strategy, corporate development, or management consulting
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
- Ability to lead work streams and mentor junior team members
- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities

Job Overview
- The EGA Strategy, Corporate Development & Capital Markets team constitutes the internal team advising the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors on strategic matters.
- The Senior Associate will drive and assist the team on independent analysis and discussions that ensure the definition and execution of EGA's strategy.
Key Accountabilities
- Drive, assist on and lead one or more work streams that contribute to the development of EGA's strategy and business objectives.
- Support the definition and execution of EGA strategic priorities and the annual strategy development process.
- Support the review, analysis and syndication of new investment opportunities across the value chain and on a global basis.
- Develop performance improvement initiatives and projects, including operational improvement, OPEX/CAPEX reduction.
- Interpret results from multiple project components and data, and translate findings into clear and compelling recommendations.
- Implement one or more initiatives and projects that cover all business areas of EGA.
- Conduct analysis of ad hoc requests to identify whether a project could be profitable.
- Gather, synthesise and analyse projects and investment opportunities, and present findings and recommendations to EGA's Executive Committee.
- Support EGA's decarbonisation journey through selected acquisitions and in house innovations.
Authority and Decision Making
- Coordinate the implementation of specific strategic initiatives.
- Make key recommendations and decisions on specific projects and work streams led by the job holder.
- Report to a Manager in the Strategy and Corporate Development team.
- Coach and mentor Associates to ensure transfer of knowledge and to build sustained capability.
