Responsibilities
- Drive and assist the Strategy, Corp. Dev & Capital Markets team on independent analysis and discussions
- Lead work streams and small projects, develop and oversee financial models for project assessment and valuations
- Drive implementation of strategic/value capture projects in coordination with relevant business areas
- Support the review, analysis and syndication of new investment opportunities
- Develop performance improvement initiatives including operational improvement and OPEX/CAPEX reduction
- Coach and mentor Associates to ensure knowledge transfer and build sustained capability

Role Overview
- The EGA Strategy, Corporate Development & Capital Markets team advises the Executive Committee and Board on strategic matters including investment decisions and value chain exploration.
- The Senior Associate will drive and assist the team on independent analysis, lead work streams, develop financial models, and support execution of strategy.
Key Accountabilities
- Drive, assist on and lead one or more work streams contributing to EGA's strategy and business objectives.
- Support the definition and execution of EGA strategic priorities and the annual strategy development process.
- Support the review, analysis and syndication of new investment opportunities across the value chain.
- Develop performance improvement initiatives including operational improvement and OPEX/CAPEX reduction.
- Interpret results from multiple project components and translate findings into clear recommendations.
- Implement initiatives covering all business areas including revenue enhancing and cost reduction projects.
- Conduct analysis of ad hoc requests to identify project profitability or strategic contribution.
- Gather, synthesise and analyse projects and investment opportunities, present findings to Executive Committee.
- Support EGA's decarbonisation journey through selected acquisitions and in house innovations.
Authority and Decision Making
- Coordinate the implementation of specific strategic initiatives.
- Make key recommendations and decisions on specific projects and work streams within defined scope.
- Report to a Manager in the Strategy and Corporate Development team.
- Coach and mentor Associates to ensure knowledge transfer and build sustained capability.
