Associate Manager - Design and Video

Lead video editing and post-production for campaigns, social content, and internal communications.

Develop short-form and long-form video content optimized for digital and social platforms.

Create motion graphics, animations, and dynamic visual elements that enhance storytelling.

Collaborate on storyboarding and visual planning for video shoots and productions.

Manage multiple video projects, ensuring creative quality and timely delivery.

Produce platform-native visuals and videos tailored to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta, and emerging platforms.

Repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form social-first assets.

Collaborate with social media leads and copywriters to develop cohesive multimedia storytelling.

Stay on top of digital design and video trends to bring innovative ideas into brand content

Work closely with copywriters, social leads, producers, and campaign managers to deliver integrated creative solutions.

Take ownership of design and video projects from concept through execution.

Mentor and guide junior associates in design and video craft, providing feedback and support.

Partner with external vendors, freelancers, or production agencies as needed.

Maintain a high standard of creative quality across all outputs.

Ensure efficient workflows, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Proactively introduce new creative tools, techniques, and approaches.

Contribute to evolving brand design and video guidelines over time.

Skills/Qualities Required

Strong design skills with mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Advanced video editing and motion graphics expertise (Premiere Pro, After Effects).

Familiarity with Figma or other collaborative design tools.

Understanding of platform-specific creative best practices for social and digital.

Strong visual storytelling, layout, typography, and animation skills.

Ability to balance creativity with strategic objectives.

Strong collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Interfaces

Creative team, Social Media Team & Marketing/Business Team

Collaborate within the creative team to ensure a unified approach to projects and maintain consistent branding across all designs and video content

Third Party Vendors

Liaise with external vendors and suppliers to secure the resources needed for design and video projects, such as software, props, and equipment.

Educational and Experience Requirements

Minimum Education requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Media Production, or related field

At least 2+ years of visual design and video editing experience

4–6 years of experience in design, video editing, or multimedia content creation (agency or in-house).

Portfolio demonstrating excellence in both design and video across campaigns and social platforms.

Experience leading projects or mentoring junior team members.

Knowledge of production workflows and processes across design and video.

Degree in Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia, Communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience with strong portfolio).
