Role Purpose

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering projects in SATCOM, AI-enabled space solutions, and advanced communications systems.
• Support scheduling, budgeting, project milestones, and lifecycle management for small to medium initiatives.
• Coordinate technical implementation, design reviews, feasibility analysis, and system testing.
• Gather customer requirements and support vendors during design reviews and acceptance testing.
• Prepare RFPs and SOWs and contribute to risk mitigation and design strategies.
• Maintain governance, project management, INFOSEC, documentation, meetings, and process improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience delivering projects in space technology, aerospace, telecommunications, or a similar engineering environment.
• PMP, ITIL, Agile, or Prince2 certification is advantageous.
• Python or C++ familiarity is highly desirable, while exposure to AI, machine learning, cloud computing, or satellite systems is relevant.
• Proficiency with MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence, plus working knowledge of CAD and simulation software.
• Understanding of regulatory standards, strong communication, organization, analytical ability, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• English proficiency at Berlitz Level 8, IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 550, or equivalent is required.
• Experience in defense, advanced manufacturing, aviation, or government space programs is preferred.
