The College of Engineering (CoE) is the largest engineering college in the UAE with currently over 3500 students. CoE is currently inviting applications toward a faculty position at the Associate/Full Professor’s level for the graduate program of Engineering Management (MEM), preferably for the Spring of Academic Year 2025-2026.
The program in Engineering Management offers Master’s and PhD degrees and is highly regarded in the UAE attracting professionals from diverse industries that include the gas and oil, the energy, chemical, nuclear, and the construction industries, as well as from regulatory agencies, municipalities, and ministries. We are interested in applicants with expertise in the following areas: Industrial Engineering, Project & Contract Management, Total Quality Management, Operations Management and MIS, Sustainability and Environmental Aspects, and Health and Safety in projects.

Job Description
Faculty members report to the Chair of the MEM and MPM programs and the Dean and participate in the growth and development of the programs, the College, and the University. Faculty members will be engaged in teaching in the Master’s and PhD programs of MEM and MPM programs, involved in research activities, and committed to university service.
Qualifications and Requirements
· An earned doctorate from an accredited institute in Engineering or related science field from a top 250 university in QS ranking.
· Ph.D. degree with experience in two areas or more: Operation Research, and Supply Chain Management; Project & Contract Management; Total Quality Management; Finance and Accounting; Economics and Marketing; Health and Safety; Human Resources Management and Organizational Behavior; and Environmental and Sustainability Aspects.
· A record of distinguished achievement in research in terms of both quality and impact.
· University teaching experience at the graduate levels.
· Experience in working with people from different ethnic backgrounds.
· Excellent communication skills, a commitment to the importance of scholarship and diversity, a spirit of entrepreneurship, and an understanding of the role of university in economic development.
· Familiarity with the new teaching media, visual communication, and the need to equip students with the varied skills they must have to succeed in an ever-changing media environment.
