to lead compliance, advisory, and strategic tax initiatives across diverse client portfolios in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- **VAT Compliance & Reporting:**
- Oversee accurate and timely preparation, review, and filing of VAT returns
- Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations and reporting standards
- **Tax Strategy & Advisory-**
- Develop and implement VAT-efficient strategies
- Advise on VAT implications of complex transactions
- **Audit & Authority Liaison-**
- Manage VAT audits, inquiries, and assessments
- Represent clients in discussions with UAE tax authorities
- Monitor changes in VAT laws and regulations
- Provide technical guidance on complex VAT matters
- Identify VAT risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Conduct compliance reviews and risk assessments
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of VAT professionals
- Drive performance and ensure high-quality deliverables
Skills
- **SHOULD BE A CA/ACCA/CPA/ /CFA**
- 5–7 years of UAE VAT experience (post-qualification) within a consulting firm
- Additional 2+ years of indirect tax experience internationally
- Strong expertise in UAE VAT laws and regulatory framework
- Proven leadership or managerial experience
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
