- Direct and manage the project controls team, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities
- Develop and implement comprehensive project controls strategies, including scheduling, budgeting, and cost management frameworks
- Monitor project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies and provide detailed variance analysis and forecasting
- Prepare executive level reports and dashboards that communicate project status, risks, and financial performance to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements specific to airport operations
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to establish realistic timelines and budgets
- Conduct regular project audits and controls reviews to maintain data integrity and process effectiveness
- Manage project documentation, change orders, and baseline updates throughout the project lifecycle
- Participate in project planning sessions and contribute to strategic decision making for airport development initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of professional experience in project controls, project management, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing controls on large scale infrastructure or airport development projects
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing project controls teams
- Advanced proficiency in project management software and tools (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent)
- Strong expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) and project performance analysis
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in international project environments and multicultural teams

- In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all project controls functions for major airport development and expansion initiatives.
- You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- This position offers the opportunity to lead a controls team while managing complex, multi million dollar airport projects in a dynamic international environment.
