About the Role

- Lead and manage the infrastructure design across all project stages (from master planning to IFC stage)
- Coordinate with master planners, architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure integrated infrastructure solutions
- Review, monitor, and manage the design deliverables of internal teams and/or subconsultants for roads, utilities, structures, marine and public realm infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and applicable international standards
- Manage design schedules, deliverables, risk, and interface coordination with multiple stakeholders
- Participate in design reviews and value engineering workshops
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior staff and discipline engineers
- Interface with project controls and commercial teams to ensure design progress aligns with program and budget
- Support permitting, approvals, and coordination with local authorities
- Ability to liaise with client representatives and discuss engineering solutions in detail as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical etc.)
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in Infrastructure Design/Design Management
- Experience in large scale projects ideally in KSA
- Chartered Status / Professionally recognized
- Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills

Job Description
- This role will be responsible for leading and managing the design of civil infrastructure works across medium to large scale development projects in Middle East.
- This includes managing multidisciplinary design teams, coordinating with stakeholders and authorities, and ensuring timely delivery of design packages.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the infrastructure design across all project stages (from master planning to IFC stage).
- Coordinate with master planners, architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure integrated infrastructure solutions. Lead and drive the coordination amongst the stakeholders
- Review, monitor, and manage the design deliverables of internal teams and/or subconsultants for roads, utilities (water, wastewater, power, ICT), structures, marine and public realm infrastructure.
- Good understanding of engineering disciplines involved in infrastructure design covering utility networks, pump stations, process plants, roads, bridges and other structures.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (e.g., MOMRAH, NWC, SEC, SWCC, Royal Commissions etc.) and applicable international standards.
- Manage design schedules, deliverables, risk, and interface coordination with multiple stakeholders, including the client and contractors.
- Participate in design reviews and value engineering workshops. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior staff and discipline engineers.
- Interface with project controls and commercial teams to ensure design progress aligns with program and budget.
- Support permitting, approvals, and coordination with local authorities. Ensure design is aligned with sustainability, resilience, and digital infrastructure goals (where applicable).
- Ability to liaise with client representatives and discuss engineering solutions in detail as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Engineering discipline. (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical etc.)
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in Infrastructure Design/Design Management.
- Experience in large scale projects ideally in KSA.
- Chartered Status / Professionally recognized.
- Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.
