Role purpose
The Associate Director works within the Corporate Finance and Investment Banking team to originate, structure, and execute corporate finance transactions.
The role delivers Sharia-compliant financing solutions to wholesale banking group and financial institution clients across ADIB's core markets.
The role works with coverage teams, CFIB teams, credit approvers, and internal stakeholders to develop relationships and solutions aligned with risk appetite and strategy.
Transaction execution
- Evaluate, structure, and execute deals with coverage and credit teams.
- Own deal origination, financing solution structuring, and transaction execution.
- Lead financial modelling, due diligence, credit analysis, Sharia structuring, pitch decks, investor presentations, syndication materials, and financial closure.
- Supervise associates and provide deal team leadership.
Structuring and documentation
- Structure facilities in line with approved risk appetite, credit policy, and return thresholds.
- Prepare and negotiate term sheets, mandate letters, and facility documentation with clients, lawyers, and syndicate banks.
