Role Summary
Lead architecture, engineering delivery, and modernization for the Enterprise AI Infrastructure and Platform Engineering domain.
Ensure high-quality solution design, integration, governance, and reliable delivery of complex initiatives.
Build trusted partnerships across architecture, infrastructure, security, identity, networking, operations, AI enablement, and business technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the Enterprise AI Infrastructure and Platform Engineering strategy in line with the technology roadmap and business objectives.
- Translate architecture direction and roadmaps into engineering designs, delivery plans, and reusable platform components.
- Evaluate and drive secure and efficient adoption of emerging AI technologies.
- Establish repeatable engineering patterns, reference implementations, and reusable platform components.
AI Platform Engineering
- Engineer AI developer environments, AI workspaces, AI APIs, model access patterns, AI agent frameworks, RAG solutions, vector databases, and MCP-based integrations.
- Deliver scalable, resilient, and secure AI platform services supporting enterprise AI initiatives.
- Ensure platform reliability, observability, resilience, disaster recovery, and operational readiness.
- Oversee onboarding and integration of enterprise AI platforms with identity, networking, security, monitoring, and operational services.
Leadership and Governance
- Align engineering deliverables with enterprise architecture, infrastructure security and compliance, risk, and infrastructure standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, operational runbooks, and engineering knowledge assets.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across the AI Infrastructure and Platform Engineering team.
- Review and approve technical designs, engineering patterns, and platform implementations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and enterprise technology teams to deliver enterprise AI capabilities.
Essential Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related discipline is required.
- At least 12 years of experience in enterprise hybrid infrastructure, platform engineering, enterprise architecture, or related technology domains is required.
- Experience designing, engineering, and operating enterprise-scale infrastructure and platform services is required.
- Experience engineering enterprise AI infrastructure and platform capabilities for generative AI, AI/ML workloads, and AI-enabled applications is required.
- Experience operationalizing secure AI development environments and enterprise AI platform services is required.
- Experience with identity integration, networking, platform security, observability, and operational support is required.
Desirable Requirements
- Exposure to enterprise AI ecosystems including ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, Gemini, Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, or comparable platforms is highly desirable.
- Experience with AI platform architecture, GPU or HPC infrastructure, AI compute environments, AI gateways, vector databases, and enterprise AI governance is advantageous.
- Experience with JupyterLab, VS Code, AI Workstations, or Claude Cowork is listed for enterprise AI development environments.
- A master's degree is preferred.
- Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, AI agent frameworks, and identity and access management experience are desirable.
