Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical
Associate Data Analyst
- **UAE Nationals only**
- to support business and product teams with data insights.
- This role is ideal for someone early in their analytics career who is eager to learn, work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, and grow within a high-impact environment.
- You will work with large datasets, build dashboards, support reporting needs, and contribute to data-driven decision-making across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and analyze data using SQL and other analytical tools
- Build and maintain dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) to monitor key business metrics
- Support ad-hoc analysis requests from Product, Operations, Marketing, and other stakeholders
- Identify trends, anomalies, and performance improvement opportunities
- Assist in defining KPIs and tracking performance across different initiatives
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports
- Work closely with senior analysts and data engineers to improve data quality and processes
- Translate data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
Experience & Background
- 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- Strong academic background is a plus
Technical Skills
- Strong SQL skills (must-have)
- Basic understanding of data modeling concepts
- Experience with Excel / Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
- Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) is preferred
- Basic understanding of Python or R is a plus
Analytical & Soft Skills
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with large datasets and attention to detail
- Good communication skills, able to explain insights in simple business language
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
