Role overview
EgisGroup is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join its Queensland Urban Development team in Brisbane.
The role supports impactful urban development projects locally in Queensland and nationally.
The opportunity is suited to a technically experienced engineer working on complex development projects.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise from feasibility studies and concept design through detailed design, construction administration, and certification.
- Lead proposal documentation, fee estimation, methodology development, client liaison, and contract negotiation.
- Lead meetings with clients, internal Egis disciplines, and external consultants.
- Provide technical leadership, training, and development for engineers and technical resources.
- Manage technical and contractual delivery within organizational policies and requirements.
- Monitor project time and costs against budgets and communicate scope or resource variances to clients.
- Review technical reports, detailed designs, and construction quality assurance data for standards compliance.
Candidate requirements
- At least 10 years of experience with demonstrated technical expertise in a similar urban development role is required.
