WSP are seeking a highly experienced Associate/Associate Director Bridges & Tunnels to join our client's growing Transport & Infrastructure division based in Riyadh or Jeddah. T.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients in Saudi Arabia, building strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities
- Lead business development in the bridges and tunnels market in KSA and support wider business development activities, including preparation of technical proposals and contributing to strategic planning
- Provide technical leadership to the design team, ensuring compliance with local and international codes and standards
- Lead the design management and technical delivery of complex bridge and tunnel infrastructure projects from concept to detailed design stages
- Oversee project planning, resourcing, budgeting, and quality control across multiple projects
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, highway, railway and MEP specialists
- Mentor and develop junior and mid level engineers, fostering a collaborative and high performance team culture
- Represent the consultancy in industry forums and client meetings, promoting technical excellence and thought leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Master's degree is highly desirable
- Chartered Engineer status (e.g., CEng, PE, or equivalent) is highly desirable
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the design of bridges and/or tunnels
- Minimum 5 years in a senior or leadership capacity
- Minimum 10 years of experience working in KSA
- Proven track record of business development, work winning and building strong client relationships
- Proven track record of working within international engineering consultancies on large scale infrastructure design projects
- In depth knowledge of relevant design software (e.g., Midas, RM Bridge, SOFiSTiK, LUSAS, PLAXIS, or similar)
- Strong understanding of local Saudi regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client facing skills

Overview

- The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of major bridge and tunnel projects across Saudi Arabia, ensuring technical excellence, innovation, and adherence to international standards.
- You will play a strategic role in project leadership, client management, and team development, while supporting the growth of the business in the region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree is highly desirable.

- Minimum 15 years of experience in the design of bridges and/or tunnels, including 5 years in a senior or leadership capacity.
