Job Overview

  • We have an urgent requirement for Assistant Warehouse Manager in Construct Domain (must) for one of our clients in Sharjah.

Must Have Requirements

  • Hands on warehouse management experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong hands on expertise in Oracle Fusion Inventory & SCM.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, ERP systems, and team leadership.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, storage, inventory control, issuance, transfers, and dispatch of materials.
  • Ensure timely receipt and distribution of materials to support project and operational requirements.
  • Monitor warehouse capacity utilization and optimize storage space.
  • Establish and maintain efficient warehouse workflows and operational procedures.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, preservation, and security of materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate material movements between warehouses, project sites, and suppliers.
  • Monitor warehouse performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Oracle Fusion Inventory & Warehouse Management

  • Manage warehouse transactions through Oracle Fusion Inventory Management.
  • Ensure accurate recording of Goods Receipts, Material Issues, Material Transfers, Inventory Adjustments, Stock Returns, Cycle Counts & Physical Inventory Transactions.
  • Maintain item master records, inventory classifications, and warehouse locations within Oracle Fusion.
  • Monitor inventory balances and stock movements using Oracle Fusion dashboards and reports.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Finance teams to ensure inventory transactions are accurately reflected in Oracle Fusion.
  • Support Oracle Fusion SCM implementation, enhancements, testing, and process improvements.
  • Ensure proper utilization of Oracle Fusion Inventory, Procurement, and Supply Chain modules.
  • Develop warehouse KPI reports and inventory analytics through Oracle Fusion reporting tools.
  • Monitor inventory valuation and reconciliation with Finance.

Inventory Management & Stock Control

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory integrity.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor stock levels and establish reorder points to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
  • Track slow moving, obsolete, damaged, and excess inventory.
  • Implement inventory optimization strategies to improve stock turnover.
  • Ensure materials are issued according to approved procedures and project requirements.
  • Coordinate stock reconciliations with Finance and Internal Audit teams.

Material Planning & Project Coordination

  • Coordinate with Procurement, Planning, Engineering, and Project teams to ensure material availability.
  • Review material forecasts and project requirements.
  • Monitor project material consumption and inventory utilization.
  • Support project mobilization and demobilization activities.
  • Ensure timely issuance of materials to project sites.
  • Coordinate emergency material requirements and critical stock replenishments.
  • Participate in project planning meetings to support operational needs.

Warehouse Safety & Compliance

  • Implement and enforce warehouse safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular warehouse inspections and safety audits.
  • Ensure safe operation of forklifts, lifting equipment, and material handling equipment.
  • Maintain proper storage conditions for hazardous, sensitive, and high value materials.
  • Investigate warehouse incidents and implement preventive measures.
  • Promote a strong safety culture throughout warehouse operations.

Documentation & Material Traceability

  • Ensure proper documentation of all warehouse transactions.
  • Maintain material receiving reports, delivery notes, issue vouchers, transfer records, and inventory reports.
  • Ensure full traceability of materials throughout the warehouse lifecycle.
  • Maintain records in accordance with company policies and audit requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and inventory records.
