Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of restaurant supervisory experience
- At least 1 2 years in an Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar leadership role
- Experience in premium casual dining or upscale restaurant concepts highly preferred
- Experience with Japanese or Asian dining concepts is an advantage

Role Overview
- The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports daily operations of REIF Japanese Kushiyaki, ensuring exceptional dining experience and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead the floor during service, ensuring smooth restaurant operations.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently while exceeding expectations.
- Build relationships with returning guests and encourage guest loyalty.
- Ensure all service standards and brand guidelines are consistently followed.
- Monitor guest feedback across all channels and implement improvements where necessary.
- Assist in overseeing the restaurant's daily operations during opening, service, and closing.
- Ensure operational procedures, checklists, and SOPs are followed consistently.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to maintain seamless communication during service.
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, and overall restaurant presentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, food safety, and municipality regulations.
- Manage restaurant reservations, seating plans, and guest flow to maximize capacity.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, motivate, and coach front of house team members.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
- Conduct daily pre shift briefings and communicate operational updates.
- Monitor employee performance and provide regular coaching and feedback.
- Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive workplace culture.
- Lead by example through professionalism, integrity, and strong work ethic.
Financial Performance
- Support achievement of sales and profitability targets.
- Monitor daily sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
- Upsell menu items, beverages, and seasonal promotions through team coaching.
- Assist in managing labor costs through effective scheduling.
- Minimize wastage and operational losses.
- Support inventory management and stock control procedures.
Administration
- Prepare daily operational reports and shift handovers.
- Monitor cash handling procedures and POS accuracy.
- Assist with scheduling based on business requirements.
- Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
- Support monthly inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Monitor food safety and sanitation practices.
- Maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.
- Report incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of restaurant supervisory experience.
- At least 1–2 years in an Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar leadership role.
- Experience in premium casual dining or upscale restaurant concepts is highly preferred.
- Experience with Japanese or Asian dining concepts is an advantage.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong guest relations and conflict resolution skills.
- Sound understanding of restaurant operations and service standards.
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles.
- Financial awareness, including labor cost and inventory management.
- Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment.
Pay
- From AED6,500.00 per month
