  • As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you help manage daily operations for a hotel dining outlet, delivering memorable guest experiences.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day

  • Assist management in direction and administration of the restaurant for outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
  • Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, discipline, and evaluate restaurant staff.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards for guests and employees.
  • Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction; ensure food quality is consistent and appealing.
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback and resolve complaints.
  • Document inventory forecast usage and monitor supply levels.
  • Oversee setup of dining and service areas.
  • Participate in marketing efforts, create menu ideas, survey competition, and assist in specials preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and local/state/federal laws.
