- As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you help manage daily operations for a hotel dining outlet, delivering memorable guest experiences.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day
- Assist management in direction and administration of the restaurant for outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
- Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, discipline, and evaluate restaurant staff.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards for guests and employees.
- Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction; ensure food quality is consistent and appealing.
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback and resolve complaints.
- Document inventory forecast usage and monitor supply levels.
- Oversee setup of dining and service areas.
- Participate in marketing efforts, create menu ideas, survey competition, and assist in specials preparation.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and local/state/federal laws.
