- Assist in the design, analysis, and optimization of structural systems using industry standard software and engineering principles
- Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed technical reports documenting structural conditions, progress, and compliance with design drawings
- Support the development and review of structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD and BIM software
- Analyze structural data and perform calculations to verify design integrity and safety requirements
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve structural challenges efficiently and effectively
- Ensure adherence to UAE building codes, international standards, and project specific requirements
- Maintain organized project files, documentation, and records for quality assurance and regulatory compliance
- Assist in quality control inspections and material testing coordination on construction sites
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to senior engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Support the preparation of progress reports and technical documentation for project deliverables
Requirements
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD, or Revit)
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and building design practices
- Familiarity with UAE and international building codes and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in technical report writing and documentation
- Solid understanding of structural materials including concrete, steel, and composite systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) is preferred
- Previous site supervision or quality assurance experience in structural projects is preferred
- Experience working on construction projects in the Middle East region is preferred

Job Description
- We're looking for a detail oriented and analytical Assistant Resident Engineer Structural to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
- In this role, you will support the structural engineering team on various construction and development projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
