Job Purpose
Support the Corporate Finance team in preparing credit proposals for new and existing transactions.
Monitor credit portfolio quality, prepare authorization requests, and coordinate annual review submissions.
Coordinate internal service delivery and demonstrate integrity, customer focus, competence, consistency, and courteousness.
Principle Accountabilities
- Prepare credit appraisals covering financial analysis, business assessment, risk evaluation, facility structure, repayment sources, and mitigants.
- Liaise with clients, banks, facility agents, and counterparties to obtain information for reviews and transactions.
- Support business development through pitches, information memoranda, term sheets, mandate letters, commitment letters, NDAs, and follow-ups.
- Submit proposals, reviews, memoranda, authorizations, and reports within agreed timelines.
- Monitor past dues, covenants, maturities, payments, rollovers, asset classification, and early warning indicators.
- Assist with watch-list and problem accounts by preparing analysis and coordinating remedial actions.
- Coordinate with credit, CAD, operations, legal, compliance, account opening, and support teams.
- Participate in internal and external audits, including Central Bank inspections.
- Attend relevant conferences, seminars, and market events to support professional networking.
- Complete assigned training and develop technical, credit, regulatory, and relationship management capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Minimum bachelor's degree, preferably in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in credit risk management, corporate lending, relationship support, portfolio monitoring, or corporate finance within banking or financial institutions.
