Job Purpose
Support the Regulatory Compliance team in monitoring adherence to Central Bank regulations and best business practices.
Support execution of the Annual Compliance Plan, especially regulatory monitoring.
Assist the Senior Manager and Head of Unit with procedures, processes, and compliance training awareness.
Principal Accountabilities
- Support the bank-wide Regulatory Monitoring Program and conduct reviews.
- Formalize reports for senior management and support gap assessments, memos, and compliance review reports.
- Execute spot checks on regulations and processes.
- Track non-compliance issues through timely closure by stakeholders.
- Maintain and update the regulations and obligations inventory.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders on regulator data requests and regular submissions.
- Provide proactive assistance to the Regulatory Compliance and Assurance team.
- Demonstrate integrity, customer focus, competence, consistency, and courteousness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Certification in audit or compliance, such as CIA, ACAMS, or ICA, is preferred.
- Three years of regulatory compliance or assurance experience within compliance required.
- Understanding of consumer protection, market conduct, and related CBUAE reporting required.
- Experience handling CBUAE data requests and working with data analytics and IT teams required.
- Effective English communication required; Arabic is a plus.
