Position Overview
Abu Dhabi University is hiring a full-time Assistant Professor in Software Engineering in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology.
The position is effective for Fall 2026 and contributes through teaching, research, student advising, and academic service.
Teaching and Academic Duties
- Teach Object-Oriented Design Patterns, Formal Methods in Software Engineering, Software Design and Architecture, Software Requirements, and related undergraduate and graduate courses.
- Develop and deliver high-quality courses and advise students.
- Participate in departmental and college activities and collaborate with faculty and staff.
- Conduct research, publish in peer-reviewed venues, and contribute to student engagement.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Software Engineering or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated university-level teaching experience.
- Active research agenda with peer-reviewed publications.
- Strong academic and professional background in Software Engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to high-quality teaching, research, and student engagement.
