Abu Dhabi University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Aviation for its Department of Aviation.
This is a full-time faculty position based at the Abu Dhabi Campus.
The role supports teaching, research, service, and preparation of graduates for the global aviation industry.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and continuously enhance aviation programs.
- Conduct cutting-edge scholarly research.
- Foster meaningful engagement with the aviation industry.
- Prepare graduates with knowledge and competencies for evolving aviation industry needs.
- Contribute to the department's academic mission through teaching, research, and service.
Requirements and Preferences
- Fluency in English and familiarity with relevant systems are required.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and aviation-specific software is required.
- A PhD in Aviation or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications and significant aviation-sector experience are preferred.
