Job Requirements (Skill Sets)

• Experience in sales and business development within the industrial automation or IT domain, with a proven track record of selling SCADA, OPC software, Historians, MES, Industrial IoT, Industrial Analytics, LIMS, etc.
• Functional knowledge of at least one industry among pharma, automotive, chemical, FMCG, or renewable energy.
• Understanding of software licensing models, subscription sales, and support renewals is desirable.
• Experience with long sales cycles and customer account management is essential.
• Strong contacts within the manufacturing industry in the region, particularly with engineering and IT personnel.
• Candidate must have strong sales skills and the ability to build effective relationships, with excellence in networking, prospecting, persuasion, sales planning, territory management, and market awareness.
• Adept at handling objections and conducting commercial negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for handling the West India region.
• Software product sales for SI, ISV, and IIoT companies.
• Driving software solution business with end users, focusing on IT-OT integration, SCADA systems, data historians, MES, Industrial IoT, AR, and related solutions.
• Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and qualitative targets, including forecasting and planning for targets, opportunity pipelines, and lead qualification.
• Managing and expanding channel partners within the designated region.
• Overseeing customer relationship management in close coordination with the Projects and Support teams.
• Staying updated on technology and industry trends while networking with customers, partners, and industry forums to strengthen the company’s market positioning.
