Assistant General Manager

Position Overview

Restaurant Operations

• Assist the General Manager in managing overall restaurant operations and daily activities.
• Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Monitor service quality, customer satisfaction, and guest feedback.
• Conduct operational checks and ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Take charge of restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager.

Compliance and Cost Control

• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, hygiene, and UAE regulations.
• Monitor sales, daily expenses, food costs, inventory, and wastage.
• Assist in achieving sales targets and improving restaurant profitability.
• Prepare and review daily operational reports for management.

People and Department Coordination

• Support staff scheduling, attendance, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate with kitchen, service, purchasing, and other departments.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in hospitality, hotel management, business administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, staff management, customer service, and cost control.
• Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in UAE restaurant operations is preferred.
• Experience with multi-outlet restaurant operations is an advantage.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.

Pay

• Pay is listed as AED 3,000–40,000 per month.
