Role Overview
The role is for an Accountant supporting restaurant and hospitality operations.
The position manages daily accounting, sales, expenses, payments, reconciliations, reporting, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting, sales, expense, and payment records.
- Reconcile POS sales, cash, card, and online delivery transactions.
- Monitor food costs, expenses, inventory, and stock reconciliation.
- Verify supplier invoices, purchases, and payments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Coordinate with operations, kitchen, inventory, HR, and suppliers.
- Assist with month-end closing and management reporting.
- Identify discrepancies and support effective cost control.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Three to five years of accounting experience, preferably in restaurant, food and beverage, or hospitality operations.
- Experience with POS and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT is an advantage.
Pay
- Compensation is AED 25,000 to AED 45,000 per month.
Work Location
- The role is performed in person.
