Job Description

  • An Assistant Executive Housekeeper serving Hilton Brand is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.

Qualifications

  • Planning and organizing
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Previous experience in Housekeeping
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
  • Committed to delivering high level of customer service
  • Excellent standards of cleanliness

Responsibilities

  • Support all Housekeeping and Laundry team by delegating day to day activities
  • Obtain list of vacant rooms to be cleaned and prepare work assignments
  • Monitor turn down service
  • Monitor special needs guests, VIP guests and foreign dignitaries
  • Assign team members duties and inspect work for conformance to standards
  • Monitor preparation of task assignment sheet and floor keys
  • Maintain communication with Front Office and other departments
  • Schedule cleaning of room carpets, upholstery, draperies, deep cleaning projects and window cleaning
  • Schedule cleaning of lobby, public restrooms, hallways, entrances, elevators, restaurants and other open areas
  • Schedule periodic major cleaning projects including carpet shampooing, cleaning of walls and baseboards
  • Schedule cleaning of all meeting rooms after functions and deep cleaning on periodic basis
  • Inventory cleaning supplies and linen stock

Additional Duties

  • Investigate concerns regarding housekeeping service and equipment
  • Provide support to Director of Housekeeping in training, coaching, counselling and enforcing SOPs
  • Ensure meeting room functions are properly set up according to event function sheets
  • Ensure guest rooms are secured and proper key control procedures
  • Advise manager and front office of rooms ready for occupancy
  • Reward employees who use empowerment to meet guest expectations
  • Print housekeeping related reports from PMS/OnQ
  • Assist in controlling expenses
  • Confirm all housekeeping team members have arrived
  • Ensure quality, undamaged linens is delivered consistently
