- Assist the DOSM in all sales activities of the hotel
- Lead the sales team and monitor all day to day activities related to the sales function
- Solicit group and individual business opportunities
- Establish and direct profitable and cost effective sales programs
- Monitor competitors’ activities, rates, and market offers
- Develop business from travel agencies, convention related companies, tour operators, and transportation companies
- Attend trade shows and networking events
- Prepare the annual sales budget and forecast
- Analyze and identify current and potential market trends
- Train, mentor, and support team members for future growth and development
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience of which at least 1 to 2 years in similar role in an international environment
- Strong operational/technical knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and reasoning skills
- Strong Leadership abilities and organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial, thinks out of the box
- Understands digital technology and platforms
- Strong relationship management, sales, influence and negotiation skills
- Able to drive change and look for operational efficiencies/synergies across the network
- Go getter, comfortable to take ownership of projects and expand scope of responsibilities
- Dynamic and result oriented

Job Description
- Assist the DOSM in all sales activities of the hotel.
- Lead the sales team and monitor all day to day activities related to the sales function, with a focus on building long term, value based customer relationships that support the achievement of property sales objectives.
- Actively participate in industry related organizations beneficial to the hotel.
- Solicit group and individual business opportunities.
- Establish and direct profitable and cost effective sales programs.
- Monitor competitors’ activities, rates, and market offers.
- Develop business from travel agencies, convention related companies, tour operators, and transportation companies.
- Maintain consistent verbal and written communication with clients.
- Attend trade shows and networking events.
- Consistently monitor results against goals and ensure sales targets are exceeded while maintaining sales awareness throughout the property.
- Prepare the annual sales budget and forecast.
- Analyze and identify current and potential market trends.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of experience of which at least 1 to 2 years in similar role in an international environment
- Strong operational/ technical knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and reasoning skills, well versed with problem solving techniques
