Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with organizational goals and market opportunities across all business segments.
- Lead and mentor sales team members, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to maximize individual and team productivity.
- Identify emerging business trends, market opportunities, and competitive insights to inform strategic recommendations and drive continuous business improvement.
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts while actively prospecting and developing new business opportunities that expand our client base and revenue streams.
- Develop and present detailed sales proposals and action plans to the Director of Sales on a monthly and quarterly basis, supported by thorough market analysis and financial projections.
- Oversee pricing strategies and budget allocation in collaboration with the revenue management team, providing clear rationale and data driven analysis throughout the operating year.
- Organize and execute strategic sales trips and client familiarization events, ensuring effective relationship building and opportunity identification in target markets.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with government authorities, tourism boards, and industry stakeholders to enhance organizational visibility and identify commercial opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, revenue targets, and key performance indicators to track progress against goals and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Participate actively in industry forums, trade shows, and business functions as a company spokesperson, representing the organization and promoting our brand positioning.
- Oversee online distribution channels and manage relationships with third party partners and online travel agencies to optimize market reach and revenue generation.
- Support the events and operations teams by identifying synergies, monitoring performance, and incorporating business development opportunities into overall organizational strategy.
