About the Role
Rosewood Doha seeks an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to lead F&B operations, ensure exceptional guest service, and maximize profitability. The role oversees outlets, events, beverage programs, and team development in a luxury hotel environment.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all associates deliver exceptional guest service and brand promise
- Maximize associate productivity and meet financial goals through multi skilling and flexible scheduling
- Assist in preparation of Annual Business Plan and monthly reforecasts for Food and Beverage
- Manage costs proactively based on key performance indicators
- Oversee beverage program including recipes, inventory, and menu development
- Conduct annual performance development discussions with key F&B associates
- Ensure smooth operation of F&B division in absence of Director of F&B
- Monitor operations during peak periods and adjust through Department Heads
- Taste and monitor food and beverage products served throughout operation
Requirements
- Experience in food and beverage management in luxury hospitality
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost control
- Knowledge of beverage programs and menu development

Your Role Guest Satisfaction
- Ensure all associates deliver brand promise and exceptional guest service
- Spend time in public areas observing associate guest interaction and coaching
- Ensure guest and internal customer complaints are resolved quickly and efficiently
Finance / Administration
- Maximize associate productivity using multi skilling, multi tasking and flexible scheduling
- Ensure each profit center operates to maximize profit while delivering brand promise
- Assist in preparation of Annual Business Plan and monthly reforecast
- Manage costs proactively based on KPIs
- Assist in inventory management and maintenance of operating equipment
- Participate in weekly yield and revenue management meetings
- Control beverage program including recipes, inventory, and menu development
- Conduct annual performance development discussions with key associates
Marketing
- Assist in preparation, utilization, and update of Annual Marketing Plan
- Evaluate market trends and competitors to keep operations competitive
- Encourage Department Heads to seek Marketing and PR opportunities
- Ensure F&B activities align with Corporate Strategy
Operations
- Ensure all company minimum brand standards are implemented
- Monitor operations during peak business periods and adjust as necessary
- Ensure Food and Beverage Fundamentals are introduced and maintained
- Work closely with Executive Committee members
- Ensure associates are up to date with seasonal and new products
- Taste and monitor food and beverage products
- Oversee punctuality and appearance of all F&B associates
