Assistant Director-FSS Accounts Receivable

Job Description

Functional Responsibilities

• Manage O2C customer related transactions for DAMAC Group businesses in scope of FSS and implementing
• sufficient reconciliations and controls to ensure quality of accounting.
• Create sufficient early warning indications of accounting or system error and ensure appropriate corrective and
• preventive action.
• Manage, guide and support both the relevant onshore and offshore direct and indirect reports ensuring smooth
• working alignment and eliminating any gaps, delays or errors.
• Ensure that service requests and Tickets are actioned in accordance with policy and within agreed SLA’s.
• Oversee the period end function ensuring that all business AR ledgers are closed on time following completion
• of month end activities based on appropriate evidence and supporting files.
• Supporting both internal and external audit in process or accounting related reviews.
• Act as key participant and SPOC in various internal Projects such as new System and ERP implementations as
• well and new business and sales launch readiness.
• Lead O2C process improvements and leverage automation to increase efficiency, quality and timeliness.
• Provide critical support to internal stakeholder teams such as Sales, CRM, Collections, Handover, Legal etc.

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certified qualification in CA/CPA/ACCA/Post–graduation in Finance or equivalent preferred

Minimum Experience

• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the real estate sector supporting
• customer journey, as well as a proven track record for growth in scope and performance within a highly
• pressurised results focused and dynamic centralised Financial Shared Service centre, and progressively
• increasing managerial responsibilities
