Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs in preparing Indian, Arabic, and grilled dishes
- Support in tandoor operations (naan, kebabs, grilled items, etc.)
- Prepare basic ingredients (cutting, marination, cleaning, portioning)
- Maintain proper mise en place before service
- Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
- Ensure food is cooked according to hygiene and safety standards
- Operate basic kitchen equipment (grill, tandoor, fryer, stove)
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations and utensils
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies properly
- Follow instructions from Head Chef / Sous Chef during service hours
- Minimize food wastage and maintain stock awareness
Requirements
- Prior experience in a restaurant kitchen (multi cuisine preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Indian spices, Arabic marinades, and grilling techniques
- Familiarity with tandoor cooking is a strong advantage
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
- Physically fit for long kitchen hours
- 1–3 years experience as commis/assistant cook in Indian or Arabic restaurants preferred

Salary
- Pay: AED 1,500.00 AED 2,500.00 per month
