Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking healthy meals, snacks, salads, wraps, bowls, and other nutritious food products
- Follow standardized recipes, portion sizes, and nutritional guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
- Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, peeling, chopping, and measuring as required
- Ensure all food items are prepared using fresh ingredients and proper cooking methods to maintain nutritional value
- Monitor food quality, taste, appearance, and presentation before serving or packaging
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation and storage areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and company policies
- Properly store raw materials and finished products according to food safety requirements
- Assist in inventory control, stock rotation (FIFO), and minimizing food wastage
- Report any equipment malfunctions, food quality concerns, or safety issues to the Head Chef immediately
- Support kitchen operations during busy periods and assist team members when required
- Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations are cleaned and sanitized after use
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of healthy food preparation and nutrition principles
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and food presentation
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an Assistant Chef, Commis Chef, or similar role
- Experience in preparing healthy meals, diet meals, fitness meals, meal plans, or calorie controlled food is preferred

Pay
- AED1,800.00 AED2,400.00 per month
