Role Overview

Academic Responsibilities

• Teach in the College of Law and maintain active engagement with students in and outside the classroom.
• Conduct scholarly research and contribute to academic literature through key research publications.
• Demonstrate continuing commitment to publishing Scopus-indexed research.
• Develop student activities and events and participate in research networks.
• Contribute as a responsible and engaged member of the university community.

Required Qualifications

• Hold a doctoral or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Assistant Professor candidates should have at least three years of full-time teaching and research experience with key research publications.
• Demonstrate significant scholarly accomplishments appropriate to the discipline.
• Demonstrate excellent teaching ability and active student engagement.
• Have a teaching qualification or be willing to complete one under the UK HEA Fellowship Scheme.
• Demonstrate communication, teaching, presentation, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Applicants should be able to teach in English and Arabic; English-only applicants are also encouraged to apply.

Associate Professor Consideration

• Associate Professor candidates should have at least eight years of full-time teaching and research experience with key research publications.
• Associate Professor applicants should provide their top ten Scopus publications with a five-line contribution explanation for each paper.

• Submit one application document in English containing a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a two-page research proposal.
• The curriculum vitae should include education, teaching and research experience, publications, and Google Scholar and Scopus profile links.
• Applicants must complete an online video interview; incomplete applications will not be considered.
