About the Role

- Oversee day to day management and optimisation of the Asset Management System (AMS) to support operational needs.
- Deliver contractual obligations and requirements to the RTA.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity by defining and enforcing data governance within the AMS/CMMS.
- Build asset management capabilities through development of training materials and knowledge sharing sessions.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Asset Management, Industrial Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience in asset management, engineering, maintenance, reliability, or railway operations, including leadership role
- Experience with CMMS systems (preferably Maximo)
- Fluent in English

Role Overview
- The AMMS Manager is responsible for leading the Asset Management and Maintenance Systems function for Dubai Metro.
- Ensures effective governance, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of asset management frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads the development and implementation of asset management strategies aligned with business objectives, contractual requirements, and RTA expectations.
- Establishes long term asset lifecycle frameworks, asset health methodologies, maintenance optimisation programmes, and asset performance management strategies.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset reliability, availability, maintainability, safety, and cost effectiveness.
- Supports strategic planning for renewals, obsolescence management, asset replacement programmes, and technology adoption.
- Development of asset management documentation, including management plans, policies and strategies.
- Champion digital transformation of asset management, including mobile solutions, IoT and integrated data.
- Leads lifecycle cost modelling, asset investment planning, maintenance optimisation assessments, and business case development.
- Provides asset management inputs to budget planning, renewals forecasting, capital investment proposals.
- Acts as the focal point for asset management governance and maintenance systems performance.
- Coordinates with RTA, Engineering, Maintenance, Digital & Data teams, OEMs, and external stakeholders.
- Supports contractual reporting, asset performance reviews, audits, and asset management maturity assessments.
- Oversee the day to day management and optimisation of the AMS to ensure it supports operational needs.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Asset Management, Industrial Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience in asset management, engineering, maintenance, reliability, or railway operations, including experience in a leadership role.
- Experience with CMMS systems (preferably Maximo), maintenance optimisation, asset lifecycle planning, KPI management, reliability analysis, and data analytics.
- Fluent in English.
Dimensions
- Oversight of the AMS, ensuring compliance with ISO55001 standard, incorporating 680,000+ assets.
- Operations and development of the CMMS, incorporating 1100+ users and systems integrations.
- Office environment. Occasional travel may be required.
- Site inspections and visits may be required.
