Role Overview
CryptoMize is hiring an Assamese Translator on a rolling, always-hiring basis for its linguistics cell.
The role owns written Axomiya deliverables for Northeast engagements across civic, campaign, community, and confidential materials.
The position is full-time and permanent, with immediate joining, and is based at the New Delhi headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Translate and review Assamese-English dossiers, civic documents, campaign documents, and confidential correspondence.
- Maintain script fidelity, including documented rulings for contested Assamese forms.
- Maintain the Assamese termbase and ensure consistent approved renderings across mandates.
- Select appropriate civic-formal or community-warm register for each audience and document.
- Handle heritage-related material with Sankari-lineage phrasing and flag classical usage.
- Translate Guwahati press summaries for monitoring desks.
- Localize layouts to Assamese print conventions and mentor apprentices with documented feedback.
- Process verification requests from other teams and return rulings with supporting documentation.
- Intercept machine-assistance errors and ensure every shipped document receives a final review.
