Role Overview

Design Support

• Interpret client requirements, building codes, and fire safety standards to develop compliant, cost-effective, and robust solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors throughout the design and project lifecycle.
• Prepare system architectures and bills of materials, and review specifications, drawings, bills of quantities, and client requirements.
• Prepare technical proposals for bids and tenders and assess competitive and local industry practices.

Application Engineering

• Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept activities, presentations, and technical consultations.
• Obtain vendor quotations and evaluate technical and commercial compliance.
• Provide engineering input during procurement, construction, and commissioning, including technical reviews and design risk assessments.
• Conduct site visits to resolve technical queries and verify installation quality against design intent.
• Develop product enhancements and customer-centric programs that improve quality, satisfaction, and loyalty.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or related Engineering field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design or drafting tools.
• Strong knowledge or familiarity with applicable NFPA, FM, UL, EN, IEC, and ATEX standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
