About the Role
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking an Application Engineer II - Protection to join their team in Dubai. Responsibilities
- Help customers apply SEL products through visits, demonstrations, training courses, emails and telephone contact
- Develop expertise in power systems, metering, protection, and SEL products
- Share knowledge and experience to enhance the quality of customer support
- Author technical papers, application guides, application videos and presentations
- Solve problems, work in and lead technical teams, and answer engineering and testing questions
- Support achieving sales goals, Engineering Services group, and SEL University where needed
- Ensure safety throughout the day

As an Application Engineer, a typical day might include the following:
- Helping customers apply SEL products through visits, demonstrations, training courses, emails and telephone contact.

- Authoring technical papers, application guides, application videos and presentations.
- Solving problems, working in and leading technical teams and answering engineering and testing questions.
