Job Summary
The Application Engineer identifies suitable solutions for customer applications and offers and sells complete products from the Flow Controls portfolio.
The role provides commercial and technical customer support and works with sales, service engineering, business management, and other stakeholders.
The role is based in Kuwait or Qatar and serves customers in both countries.
Responsibilities
- Provide application engineering, technical, and pricing support, including technical presentations and site walkdowns.
- Size and select control valves and other Flow Control products, review specifications, and prepare deviation lists.
- Prepare quotations, conduct technical sales calls and order closeouts, and follow up until purchase orders are secured.
- Coordinate root cause analysis, customer recommendations, order compliance, factory processing, and post-order documentation.
- Maintain records in Emerson systems and tools and comply with trade compliance, quality management, and ethics policies.
- Stay current with product developments, industry trends, and market requirements.
Required Experience and Education
- Experience with control valve products, applications, and Fisher sizing and selection tools.
