Responsibilities
- Prepare complex analyses and reports for the Accounts Payable function
- Monitor movements within assigned Chart of Accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Supervise preparation of variance analyses between standard and actual costs
- Maintain up to date GRNI records and monitor aging items
- Ensure assigned COAs are fully reconciled and maintained accurately
- Oversee timely preparation and review of account reconciliations
- Maintain financial databases and ensure proper documentation
- Interpret financial data by analyzing trends, variances, risks, and opportunities
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial information
- Prepare general ledger journal entries and reconciliations
- Monitor bank reconciliations and payment postings
- Resolve moderately complex accounts payable issues and vendor related concerns
Requirements
- Experience in accounts payable functions
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Experience with ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills

Short Description
- Perform and coordinates accounts payable functions within the organization while supervising a small team of accountants
- Responsible for preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, conducting variance analyses, and implementing corrective actions
- Maintains supplier and general ledgers, assists with audit preparation and compliance activities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare complex analyses and reports for the Accounts Payable function and recommend improvements
- Monitor movements within assigned Chart of Accounts (COAs), investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
- Supervise preparation of variance analyses between standard and actual costs
- Maintain up to date GRNI records, monitor aging items, and investigate abnormal entries
- Ensure assigned COAs are fully reconciled and maintained accurately
- Oversee timely preparation and review of account reconciliations
- Maintain financial databases and ensure proper documentation and archiving
- Interpret financial data by analyzing trends, variances, risks, and opportunities
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial information through variance investigations
- Analyze, record, and report accounting transactions accurately
- Prepare general ledger journal entries and reconciliations
- Maintain trackers and monitoring tools for timely payment processing
