About the Role
ADNOC Group seeks a Business Planning Analyst for the Gas Operations Support Team in Bu Hasa, Abu Dhabi. The role coordinates business planning activities, prepares budgets, monitors performance, and supports ISO audits.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the Operations division’s business planning activities and track progress.
- Prepare and periodically review planning process cycle for various activities related to Operations function.
- Coordinate preparation of site short term and long term business plans.
- Coordinate all ISOs, BMS activities and establish communication with all sites for look ahead planning.
- Support development of level 3 and level 4 procedures in line with ISO standard guidelines.
- Prepare yearly quality objectives for site as per ISO procedures and monitor achievements.
- Provide support for all ISO audits, IAD and other audits, and follow up on audit recommendations.
- Monitor progress against planning and business services to identify areas of unsatisfactory performance.
- Coordinate preparation of budgets as per budget planning cycle.
- Monitor actual spending against approved budget and prepare monthly variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly highlights and weekly reports for site activities.
- Coordinate cost optimization initiatives and review Scope of Work for divisional studies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any relevant discipline (Engineering Degree Preferable)
- 6 years of experience in business planning within a large industrial organization, preferably in Oil and Gas
- Good knowledge of gas processing plants and related streams
- Good knowledge and exposure to budgeting, costing and financial analysis principles
- Good knowledge of planning terminologies commonly used in Oil & Gas sector
- Well versed in relevant planning systems and tools
- Understanding of inter relationship of various planning functions/processes

Job Purpose
- Coordinate and monitor the Operations division’s business planning activities and track progress to provide timely and accurate information for management decision making.
Key Accountabilities Business Planning
- Prepare and periodically conduct review of planning process cycle for various activities related to Operations function.
- Coordinate the preparation of the site short term and long term business plans.
- Coordinate all ISOs, BMS activities and establish communication with all sites for look ahead planning.
- Support development of all level 3 and level 4 procedures in line ISO standard guidelines.
- Prepare yearly quality objectives for site as ISO procedures and monitor objective timely achievements.
- Provide support for all ISO audits, IAD and other carried out by external and internal auditors.
- Monitor and track actions raised during internal and external audits.
- Participate in development or enhancement of business processes.
- Monitor progress against planning and business services.
- Coordinate preparation of budgets as per budget planning cycle.
- Monitor actual spending against approved budget with monthly variance analysis.
- Ensure AFEs and AFOUs issued by the site are with proper justification.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any relevant discipline (Engineering Degree Preferable).
- 6 years of experience in business planning within a large industrial organization, preferably in Oil and Gas industry.
- Good knowledge of gas processing plants and related streams.
- Good knowledge and exposure to budgeting, costing and financial analysis principles and methodologies.
- Good knowledge of planning terminologies commonly used in Oil & Gas sector.
- Well versed to relevant planning Systems and tools.
- Understanding of inter relationship of various planning functions/processes which support the business.
