About the Role
Qatar Airways is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic specializing in Safety & Bottle Systems to join the Cabin Workshops Team. The role involves maintenance and repair of safety equipment such as slides, rafts, life vests, and fire extinguishers in accordance with QCAA/EASA standards.

- Perform all required work in accordance with approved technical data, QR standards and procedures
- Operate equipment or tooling relating to work area to meet time frame objectives
- Interpret information over a range of normal activities to maintain satisfactory continuous operation
- Ensure aircraft component rectifications are accomplished in a timely manner to QCAA/EASA PART 145 requirements
- Comply with company health and safety policy
Requirements
- High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job related experience
- Safety Skilled staff with 2 3 years’ hands on experience on slide/raft, life vest and survival kits
- Safety Slide/raft assembly and Life vest training
- Bottle Skilled staff with 2 3 years’ hands on experience on slide/raft reservoir assemblies and fire extinguishers
- Bottle Reservoir assembly training
- Bottle Hazmat Training

About the role
- We are currently recruiting for Aircraft Mechanics to join our Cabin Workshops Team, specializing in Safety & Bottle Systems.
- As an Aircraft Mechanic (Safety & Bottle), you will be responsible to perform all required work in accordance with approved technical data, QR standards and procedures.
Operational Accountabilities
- Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks to provide satisfactory service to customers.
- To operate equipment or tooling relating to work area to meet time frame objectives for tasks.
- Able to interpret information over a range of normal activities to maintain satisfactory continuous operation.
- Perform other department duties related to his position as directed by the head of the department.
- Accountable to comply with the company health and safety policy.
- Ensure aircraft component rectifications are accomplished in a timely manner, to the defined QCAA/EASA PART 145 requirements.
- Perform by example to motivate team.
- All team personnel to be made aware of any health and safety issues.
About you
- High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 3 years of job related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job related experience.
