Aircraft Mechanic - IFE Base

Role Overview

Location

• The position is located in Doha, Qatar.
• The work involves hands-on aircraft maintenance and physical aircraft systems and components.

Operational Accountabilities

• Deliver aircraft maintenance services to support operational requirements as directed by a supervisor.
• Perform maintenance activities according to company and customer procedures and supplied aircraft maintenance data.
• Conduct tests and inspections to evaluate product, service, or process quality and performance.
• Examine engines and components for cracks, breaks, or leaks.
• Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts.
• Modify aircraft structures, systems, or components according to drawings, engineering orders, and technical publications.
• Read maintenance manuals and specifications to determine repair or replacement methods.
• Rectify cabin defects and implement technical solutions for line maintenance problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of job-related experience.
• Practical experience in a similar technical work area.
• Knowledge of heavy cabin and IFE maintenance fundamentals relevant to the employment area.
• Ability to perform equipment maintenance and determine required maintenance actions.
• Ability to repair machines or systems using the required tools.
• Ability to control operations of equipment or systems.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required.
• Ability to communicate in a multicultural environment.
• Good command of English verbally and in writing.
