About the Role
Emirates Group IT is looking for an Agile Delivery Lead to perform the role of Scrum Master, developing and leading a high-performing team. The role blends Scrum Master responsibilities with traditional project management, ensuring structured planning, risk control, and consistent delivery of business value.

Responsibilities
- Schedule user stories from the technical product backlog to the Sprint plan focusing on regular and timely delivery of business value initiatives
- Facilitate agile ceremonies: product backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives
- Manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, removing impediments and blockers to ensure optimal flow of value
- Guide the team on the use of Agile Scrum practices and values
- Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and coach the team to higher levels of maturity
- Promote empowerment of the team ensuring each team member is fully engaged and making a meaningful contribution
- Work collaboratively with Technical Product Owners to refine, clarify and maintain the product backlog
- Support Technical Product Owners in managing business expectations and transparency
- Define and manage a well defined process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives
- Ensure Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done is being followed
Requirements
- Degree or Honours or equivalent in a subject related to Computer Science or similar
- Certified Scrum Master with 3 years of practical application of the Scrum Management discipline
- 5 years of working in Information Technology in agile delivery within the context of a small medium technology change program
- Proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organisation with global teams for a large organisation
- Well versed in the use of tools of software delivery eg MS OFFICE suite JIRA Confluence etc.
- Ability to effectively communicate specialist information in an understandable format to all stakeholders
- Excellent Communication Skills, focusing on core Scrum values of openness, honesty and respect

In This Role You Will
