About the Role
Emirates is seeking an Agile Delivery Lead for Airline Operations to manage end-to-end delivery of initiatives, including vendor-led CAPEX projects and in-house product enhancements.

- Schedule user stories from the technical product backlog to the Sprint plan, focusing on regular and timely delivery of business value initiatives; facilitates agile ceremonies.
- Manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, removing impediments/blockers to ensure optimal flow of value.
- Guide the team on the use of Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight the business, and how to elicit the most out of self organisation.
- Work collaboratively with the Technical Product Owners to refine, clarify, and maintain the product backlog.
- Support the Technical Product Owners in managing business expectations and transparency in both the product backlog and schedule for all initiatives.
- Define and manage a well defined process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Delivery Management.
- Ensure the Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done (DOD) are being followed.
- Maintain an agile project management tool (ScrumDesk, JIRA, etc.).
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or similar
- Certified Scrum Master with 3+ years of practical application of the Scrum Management discipline
- PMI ACP certification
- Proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organisation with global teams for a large organisation
- Experience in agile delivery within the context of a small/medium technology change programme
- Well versed in the use of tools of software delivery, e.g., MS OFFICE suite, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Ability to effectively communicate specialist information in an understandable format to all stakeholders and vendors
- Excellent communication skills, focusing on core Scrum values of openness, honesty, and respect

Job Purpose
- As an Agile Delivery Lead Airline Operations, you will be responsible for end to end delivery of initiatives that span vendor led CAPEX projects, in house product enhancements, support releases, and technical debt reduction.
- You will work closely with strategic vendor partners to manage delivery timelines, budgets, and quality.
- The Agile Delivery Lead performs the role of Scrum Master, developing and leading a high performing, multi disciplinary team.
In This Role, You Will
- Schedule user stories from the technical product backlog to the Sprint plan, focusing on regular and timely delivery of business value initiatives; facilitates agile ceremonies, e.g., product backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
- Manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, removing impediments/blockers to ensure optimal flow of value.
- Guide the team on the use of Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight the business, and how to elicit the most out of self organisation.
- Work collaboratively with the Technical Product Owners to refine, clarify, and maintain the product backlog; together with the TPO, schedule and commit stories into sprints and visualise progress.
- Support the Technical Product Owners in managing business expectations and transparency in both the product backlog and schedule for all initiatives.
- Define and manage a well defined process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Delivery Management and effectively manage conflict resolution.
- Ensure the Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done (DOD) are being followed; make sure that each team member is fully engaged in the stories and making a meaningful contribution.
- Maintains an agile project management tool (ScrumDesk, JIRA, etc.).
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or similar.
