AES SAP- ABAP - Senior Associate

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements, provide solutions, and implement technical components.
• Create technical design documents and unit test documents.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user support activities.
• Manage incidents, changes, problems, service levels, escalations, and project risks.
• Review ticket quality and deliverables and provide project status reports.
• Mentor junior resources and support knowledge-sharing activities.
• Interact regularly with onsite teams and clients and support engagement delivery.

Required Qualifications

• BE, BTech, ME, MTech, or MBA degree required.
• Six to ten years of experience required.
• At least six years of SAP experience and multiple SAP ABAP implementation projects required.
• Candidates must be flexible to work from 2 pm to 11 pm IST.
• Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and client relationship skills are required.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP Forms, including SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
• Strong knowledge of ALV and classical reports.
• Strong knowledge of ALE/IDOC, BAPI, LSMW, BDC, user exits, BADI, and enhancement spots.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented ABAP and SAP Workflows.
• Experience building OData services using NetWeaver Gateway and ABAP.
• Preferred skills include SAP UI5/Fiori, SAP HANA CDS Views, SAP BOPF, and ITIL 4 certification.
