Role Overview
Accounts Payable Accountant supporting F&B branches and a central kitchen in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable activities across F&B branches and the central kitchen.
- Receive, verify, and process supplier invoices with supporting documentation.
- Match invoices against purchase orders, delivery notes, and receiving records.
- Maintain supplier accounts, reconcile statements, and prepare payment schedules.
- Coordinate invoice discrepancy resolution with internal departments and suppliers.
- Verify operational purchases and accurately classify expenses in the accounting system.
- Process credit notes, debit notes, adjustments, and account reconciliations.
- Maintain AP records and assist with month-end closing, accruals, reporting, and audits.
- Identify duplicate invoices, discrepancies, and unusual charges and report them to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Hands-on QuickBooks experience is mandatory.
- Sapaad or a similar F&B POS/accounting system is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of invoice processing, purchasing documents, reconciliations, and payments.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
- F&B or restaurant experience is preferred, including UAE F&B experience.
Compensation
- Full-time position paying AED 3,000–4,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Abu Dhabi.
