- Manage day to day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledgers and financial reporting
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports
- Review financial transactions and reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Develop and implement internal control procedures to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Manage the monthly and annual closing process, including the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA or equivalent professional certification is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role, with demonstrated expertise in financial reporting
- In depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
