Role Overview
Accounts Manager role based in Dubai, UAE.
Requires 5 to 8+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in the UAE.
The position is full time and requires in-person work.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complete financial and accounting operations.
- Manage the General Ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Prepare profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, and management reports.
- Handle VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and filings.
- Manage customer reconciliations, aging reports, collections, and bank reconciliations.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Analyze financial performance, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain strong financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and IFRS.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS.
- Experience with ERP or accounting software and advanced Excel.
- Strong financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, team-management, and problem-solving abilities.
- UAE experience in a group or company environment is advantageous.
