Role Overview
AWS Investment Group LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant.
The role manages daily accounting operations, financial records, reporting, compliance, and finance-related activities.
The stated experience level is two to five years, with UAE experience required in the role overview and preferred in the requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Prepare financial reports and management statements.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
- Maintain proper documentation for all accounting transactions.
- Assist with VAT calculations, VAT returns, and UAE tax compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies.
- Support budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and other finance-related activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Three to five years of relevant accounting experience.
- UAE accounting experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT and basic tax regulations.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
