Accountant - Intern

Role overview

What you'll do

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Assist with invoice verification, processing, and documentation.
• Support purchase-to-payment processes.
• Support financial reports and basic analysis.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and shared services on finance activities.
• Support data entry and maintain finance files and records.
• Assist with finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and develop accounting knowledge.

What you'll bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Availability for an internship.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to organize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• High learning agility and a positive, proactive approach.
