About the Role

Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
- Prepare and process journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Process supplier invoices, customer billing, and payment transactions
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare VAT calculations, filings, and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
- Assist in preparation of financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitor company expenses and ensure proper cost allocation
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to audit queries
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in UAE
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, Odoo, or Zoho Books)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent) is an advantage

About the Job
- We are seeking a detail oriented and analytical Accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support day to day accounting operations.

Qualifications & Experience
